FALL PROGRAMS

Fall is for Soccer. Come play for UDFC. Whatever their soccer skills, UDFC has a program.

KINDERLEAGUE (Play) – For ages 3 thru 6 yrs. Start your youngest kickers off on the right foot, with UDFC KinderLeague. KinderLeague is a weekly program to introduce them to the fun of soccer. It is a mix of soccer league games and fun, game-based instruction from professional youth soccer trainers, all in a single 60-min weekly session.

SOCCER LEAGUE (Play) – For 1st Grade and up. Co-ed soccer for all abilities – everyone plays. The UDFC Soccer League offers league play in a fun, low-pressure environment. The focus is on player development, team-work and good sportsmanship. Teams are coached by parent volunteers. Season includes Saturday morning games at UD school fields and teams hold once-a-week evening practices.

ACADEMY (Learn) - Academy is a stand-alone training program for players in 1st thru 4th Grade who are already playing soccer. The age-appropriate curriculum is geared towards the motivated young player who wants to build their soccer skills as they prepare to make the move to Travel and School teams. This is NOT an "Intro to Soccer" program

TRAVEL (Compete) - UDFC’s Travel Soccer Teams are for the passionate soccer player who is seeking a more competitive game than is found in the UDFC League. UDFC Travel Teams play the Fall season against teams from other soccer clubs in the region. Additional opportunities exist for teams to continue together for winter, spring and tournament play. Boys & Girls are eligible for travel teams starting at age 8 (teams are divided by gender and birth year). Tryouts are held in the Spring. Teams are coached by parent volunteers.

ADULT OPENPLAY (Play) - Adult OpenPlay offers pick-up soccer games for adult (20yrs+) family, friends, and past youth players of Upper Darby FC. A weekly game is available year-round (most weeks) and players can sign up at any time. Registration is free and gets you updates on when and where games are being played.
