SUMMER PROGRAMS

The lazy days of Summer are still an opportunity to play soccer with UDFC. Our programs are more flexible to allow for other summer pursuits and vacations plans.

ACADEMY (Learn) – Summer Academy is for players 3yrs old through rising 6th graders (will be in 6th grade this fall). The small group trainings are led by our professional youth soccer trainers and sessions focus on developing individual ball skills.

OPENPLAY (Play) - Summer Open Play are weekly opportunities for older UDFC players (middle school and High School) to play pick-up soccer games without a season-long commitment or a requirement to register. If your player was registered for a UDFC program in the last year, they are eligible to come out and play. The number of games offered and how teams are divided up depends on the turnout of players week-to-week. Games are organized and managed by UDFC Coaches and Managers.

TRAVEL PRE-SEASON (Compete) – UDFC Travel Teams use the summer for pre-season practice to prepare for the Fall. Individual teams set their own schedules and requirements for practices and possible pre-season tournaments.

ADULT OPENPLAY (Play) - Adult OpenPlay offers pick-up soccer games for adult (20yrs+) family, friends, and past youth players of Upper Darby FC. A weekly game is available year-round (most weeks) and players can sign up at any time. Registration is free and gets you updates on when and where games are being played.
